Mission-Based Advisory: A Professional Development Manual Review

I have not yet read this book, but had the author, Roger Dillow, as an advisor in high school 20 years ago. He was inspirational. I found this web page because I googled Roger to contact him after one of those moments of reflection when you recognize the great impact someone has had on your life. Roger made a critical difference in the lives of many of us through his mentorship, role modeling, and constant encouragement for questioning ourselves and those around us. He knew how to reach advanced kids who didn't think they needed additional advising as well as those students who were falling through the cracks thinking they were clever enough to fall without notice, both particularly prevalent in our private school. So, although I cannot comment on the specific text, I can attest to his practice of advising being 5-stars--and he's got 20 more years of experience!
